1. Introduction
Strava Booster ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit stravabooster.com (the "Site") and use our services (the "Service").
2. Data Controller
The data controller is Strava Booster (or its legal entity). Contact: privacy@stravabooster.com.
3. Personal Data We Collect
• Account Information: name, email address, password, profile details, support requests, and—if you purchase—payment details processed by our payment provider.
• Usage Data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, approximate location, referring URLs, pages viewed, clicks, time on page, and similar usage data.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7.
• Information from third parties: for example, if you connect or sign in via Strava or other providers, or from analytics and anti‑fraud services.
4. Strava Data We Collect and Store
To provide our automation service, we collect and store the following Strava-related data:
• Strava Session Cookies: When you provide your Strava session cookies, we store them securely using encryption. These cookies allow our systems to perform automated actions on your behalf.
• Strava Account Information: We may collect your Strava athlete ID, username, profile information, and club memberships to configure and operate the automation features.
• Club Data: We collect information about Strava clubs including club names, member counts, locations, sport types, and activity feeds to enable targeted automation.
• Activity Metadata: We access activity information (such as activity IDs, athlete names, timestamps) in clubs you are a member of to perform kudos actions. We do not store the content of activities long-term.
• Automation Logs: We log the automated actions performed on your behalf, including kudos given, timestamps, and any errors encountered. These logs help us provide you with activity reports and troubleshoot issues.
• Configuration Preferences: Your automation settings including countries, sports, distance filters, active days/times, and excluded athletes or clubs.
5. How We Use Personal Data
• Provide and operate the Service and core functionality.
• Create and manage accounts and subscriptions.
• Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support.
• Improve the Site and Service, including analytics and research.

6. How We Use Strava Data
• Performing Automated Actions: We use your Strava session cookies to authenticate requests and perform kudos actions on activities in your clubs.
• Proxy Servers: Automated actions may be performed through proxy servers located in various geographic regions. This is done to distribute requests and reduce the likelihood of rate limiting.
• Activity Logging: We log automation activity to provide you with reports and statistics about kudos given and engagement metrics.

10. Your Rights
Subject to conditions in applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
